MEDICAL INSURANCE

The knowledgeable staff at Camas Prairie Eye Clinic is experienced in working with both medical and vision insurance providers. As part of our ongoing efforts to provide superior customer service, we will work directly with your insurance company to submit claims regarding your eye health and vision care. We strive to ensure that you understand your insurance coverage and will answer any questions you may have regarding your benefits.  Camas Prairie Eye Clinic accepts assignment (P.P.O.) to many of the major insurance companies including:

  • Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield

  • Regence Federal

  • Blue Cross of Idaho

VISION INSURANCE

Many current vision plans are designed to cover most of the basic vision-related costs, but not all costs associated with eye care. Most plans often require a co-payment for an office appointment as well as additional costs that are covered by the insured patient. If our office does not take your vision insurance, our knowledgeable staff will be able to assist you submit your vision claim for reimbursement.

If you don’t have vision and/or medical insurance, Camas Prairie Eye Clinic has created customizable a la carte EYECARE SAVINGS PLANS for you. Pick and choose a plan based on your need and receive instant savings. When you commit to the plan, enjoy multiple savings for one year. Buy the plan only as needed (e.g. you have medical insurance for eye exam services but no vision insurance for glasses, buy ONLY the glasses plan).

EXAM PLAN - $10/YEAR: 40% savings vision exam services, 20% savings nonprescription sunwear

CONTACT LENS PLAN - $40/YEAR: Member Price on contact lenses (usually better than online prices), 40% savings contact lens evaluation, 20% savings nonprescription sunwear, 20% savings prescription eyewear

GLASSES PLAN - $80/YEAR: 40% savings 1st pair prescription glasses, 20% savings 2nd pair prescription glasses, 20% savings on optical accessories, 20% savings nonprescription sunwear

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Dr. Lane and her staff understands that cost is a concern when evaluating vision care providers. We do not want cost to be an obstacle to maintaining proper eye health and good vision. We accept various forms of payment and are able to discuss financing options with you prior to any examination. We accept the following payments for your out-of-pocket expenses:

  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

  • Health Savings Accounts (HSA)

We are happy to provide you with a breakdown of your expected costs either before your appointment or during the time of your visit. Professional charges are due in full the day of your examination. When ordering your glasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses, we require a 50% payment before ordering.
