MEDICAL EYE CARE
MEDICALLY TRAINED OPTOMETRIST: Dr. Lane specializes in the treatment and management of glaucoma, age related macular degeneration, diabetes in your eye, chronic dry eye, cataract/LASIK co-management care , and EMERGENCY eye care.
Glaucoma

Diabetic Retinopathy
One of the most common forms of blindness of adults under the age of 50. Routine dilated exam is essential to detect diabetes in your eyes. Dr. Lane will work closely with your primary care physician to make sure your eyes are protected.
Dry Eye
Dr. Lane will do more than recommend "eye drops" to treat chronic dry eye disease. Schedule an appointment for a complete dry eye evaluation to determine your dry eye treatment. Pre & Post Operative Cataract Surgery Care/ Pre & Post Operative LASIK Surgery Care
Interested in LASIK or Cataract Surgery? Visit Dr. Lane to determine if you are a candidate. Dr. Lane will use state of the art technology and thorough examination during your visit. She works closely with surgeons in Lewiston, Moscow, Spokane, and Boise to address all of your surgical needs. The process is simple. Referrals for your surgery are made in office after your examination. For your convenience, once you undergo your surgery, all of your post operation care will be done by Dr. Lane. Dr. Lane will spend the time with you to make sure your glasses and contact lens prescription is perfected so you see and feel comfortable with your vision. She will make sure first the health of your eyes are at their very best in order for you to see clearly. The newest and best product technology will be utilized to give you the best options for your vision care.
YOUR GLASSES PRESCRIPTION
There is a lot more to your glasses prescription than asking if you like “one or two”! Dr. Lane will take the time to make sure you clearly, but more importantly you see clearly and comfortably. If your vision is not 20/20, she will figure out why the 20/20 cannot be achieved during your comprehensive eye exam and treat and manage accordingly. Do not expect an in and out visit!
SPECIALTY CONTACT LENS FITTINGS
YOUR ONE OF A KIND CONTACT LENS EVALUATION
Dr. Lane will use the most up to date contact lens options to properly fit onto your eyes. Experience contact lenses that provide comfort without drying out at the end of the day. Dr. Lane will personalize your contact lens fitting by utilizing her new state of the art Keratograph machine. An individulized topographic map will be taken to measure your cornea precisely. Your personalized contact will be placed on your eye, and a picture or video can be taken to show you the fit , as well as common problems associated with contact lens wear. PEDIATRIC CARE
Dr. Lane is more than happy and comfortable to take care of all your kids’ needs. Ideally when your child is born, Dr. Lane recommends at least vision screening at six months, which she is more than happy to do. Around three years of age, a comprehensive eye exam if needed to make sure your child’s learning skills are not hindered by abnormal vision. Ideally, a yearly examination is recommended monitor your child’s eye health and vision development. Do you have an active child needing contact lenses? Dr. Lane can take care of those needs making sure eye health is maintained.
VISION HEADACHES
FRONTAL and TEMPORAL HEADACHES are common first symptoms of visual eye strain, rather than blurry vision. You may also experience a “visual aura” commonly called an eye migraine. DOUBLE VISION
Have you ever needed PRISM for your glasses? Do you sometimes experience a super imposed double vision off and on throughout the day, especially when you are fatigued? Dr. Lane can help relieve these symptoms. With prism encorporated into your glasses, you will see better and your eyes will feel more comfortable throughout the day. Sometimes double vision may be caused by a neurological disorder, which Dr. Lane is more than happy to diagnose, manage, and treat .
